The 180-day window passed late Thursday with no one coming forward to claim a $16.66 Powerball jackpot from a ticket bought in Hillsborough County.
The ticket was sold in May at Carrollwood Market, a convenience store at 4550 W. Village Drive.
The ticket was worth one third of a $50 million Powerball jackpot drawn May 25. The two other winning tickets were sold in Delaware and Louisiana. The winning numbers were 02-06-19-21-27 PB 25.
Some of the unclaimed winnings will go to fund education, the Florida Lottery said.
It’s the largest unclaimed jackpot in Florida since 2003, when someone didn’t claim $53 million in the Florida Lotto game.
Carrollwood Market received a $25,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket
