Russian presidential adviser Sergey Glazyev talked about signing the association agreement.
He mainly noted that Russian experts have given a helping hand to the Armenian side to understand the negative sides of that agreement. It was the same with Armenia as was with Ukraine, but Armenia’s president came to his mind quick and shook the Government as the country was about to sign an agreement with EU.
Armenian Government was at a loss and thought that it can be both SCTO member and have an EU agreement. There are points stating that the side having signed the EU agreement must follow European policy and take part at regulation processes of territorial conflicts.
That time Armenia’s president, a person who is in charge of his country’s security asked himself, how are they going to regulate Azerbaijan-NKR conflict with the EU? It was an interesting question. And just when they start asking such easy questions, it becomes clear that the country will be void of self-determination and will become a colony of the EU. So, being and EU colony and solving problems with Azerbaijan is impossible’, said Glazyev.
