After the end of four-day sessions at NA, briefings took place, during which MPs answered questions of journalists. Head of ‘Heritage’ party Zaruhi Postandjyan turned to draft bill of ‘salary raise of state officials’ and said that it is a discriminating bill. She said that 240.000 AMD is enough for pressing buttons. ‘Galust Sahakyan and Hovik Abrahamyan should not get any salary at all’, said she.
‘Over one million people are living in poverty today, so talking about pay raise is immoral’, said Postandjyan and added that our society is also to blame for this situation as it has been enduring it for far too long. Journalists asked her about Hovik Abrahamyan’s decision to remove her from PACE delegation, she said that tough times are awaiting for Hovik Abrahamyan as they are about to battle in many fields.
